MBS gave us a quote for the work which we had done, a patio door installed, stud wall taken down, back door bricked up and plastered and a new tiled floor installed. Not only was the work completed on time it was completed to a very high standard from a really nice friendly bloke. Always arrived on time and was working from as soon as he got there till he finished. We supplied regular tea and even done a sandwhich at lunch as he was so efficient and friendly at his job.
Not only would I recommend m.b.s im going to get in contact with Nick in the new year for more work to be done.

I found the work carried out by MBS [Nick and Scott] to be of a very professional standard they were hard working, polite and respectful of our property they left the room clean and tidy after a very difficult job which ended up as a complete new ceiling and two walls being renovated. We needed a firm that were able to install a completely new central heating system and rewire our electrics simultaneously, and MBS were able to do this. The work was done very quickly and efficiently causing minimal disruption. Nick was incredibly helpful for the duration, and the individuals that carried out various elements of the job were very professional also. We would certainly recommend MBS. We have already planned to use them again very soon for a new bathroom installation!

We are very happy with quality and value of the work that has been completed throughout our house. We had a variety of work to be completed, an ensuite fitted, small tile work, custom shelving in wardrobes, plumbing, plastering, and the list goes on, all of which were completed in a logical and timely manner. MBS was actually able to get everything completed in a shorter timescale then what was quoted. Nick is a very polite, reliable and knowledgeable builder. Nick is a very skilled plasterer the ease at which he is able to do his job is clear evidence that he has years of experience in the building trade. MBS was on time every day they were here and left the rooms they were in very clean and tidy. At the completion of the job they cleared away any trace of debris. We would not hesitate to recommend them to family and friends for any of their building needs. We have already asked for other projects we would like to be completed around the house to be quoted for. MBS will be our first point of call for all of our future renovation and building needs.

I’m very happy with the work Nick and his team did for me. They were always here on time, they were always here when they were supposed to be here and all the work was carried out to a satisfactory level. I really can’t complain about any aspects of the project. I had a complete refurbishment done, including plumbing and electrics and although I don’t need any more work doing now for a while I would certainly use them again.

I would always use Nick, I’ve got a lot of faith in him. He’s done conservatory work and roofing work for me and he’s very thorough and very hardworking. I’ve seen other work that he’s done as well, converting several houses from shabby ones to really nice ones. I’d recommend him, by all means.

MBS completed work covering all the bargeboards and soffits on my house and renewed all the guttering , in a week in the most horrendous weather. The job done was excellent. Despite the weather they arrived early every morning and worked non stop until the light faded, cleaning up at the end. They gave a good and reasonable quote and and stuck to it. It’s the second job they have done for me and I strongly recommend them to anyone, and have!

Hi Nick,
You completed a kitchen refurbish and garden decking project for me in April last year.
I was very happy with the service you provided so I thought Id ask whether you’d consider quoting for some further work on my house. The tasks that need doing are:
External house painting
External 1st floor sash window painting
Fix leaking guttering
(I’m no good at heights hence most the jobs are ladder based!)
I also need advise on additional damp proofing to solve damp issues on rear walls including kitchen.
I appreciate that these are not necessarily big jobs for you and you might not consider them worth your while. If that was the case, could you recommend someone you would trust to do the work?
