A recent project saw Turn Key design and install a cooling and heating system for one of the largest hotels in central London. The brief included the instruction that the installation was to be completed while the hotel remained fully functioning.
TKAC opted for a Mitsubishi Electric high efficiency heat recovery Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) air conditioning system, coupled with Mitsubishi’s Melcotel™ centralised controller. This technology has been designed specifically for the hotel sector to maximise energy efficiency.
The system was constructed off-site, reducing the cost to the client and minimising disruption, and the air conditioning and heat exchange units were lowered into position on the hotel roof on a quiet Sunday morning without disturbing a single guests.
